The boys of Alice Soccer had a decisive win tonight against Bloomfield. The boys finished with a 10- 1 victory on our home field. The team performed incredibly well with 31 shots and six different goals scorers in John Martin, Beam, Morgan Horst, Gera Silva, Claudson Thomas, Jonah Turpin, and Carson Heiden. Silva finished the night with a hat trick, and Claudson Thomas and Morgan Horst each finished with a brace(2 goals) on the night. David Ramirez, who lead the area in assists last year, ended the night with a game high, four assists. Claudson Thomas, David Faka Hyppolite, and Lucas Klingler also tallied an assist each in the game. Our goalies, Paxton Smith and Landon Telligman had a quiet night. Smith had a save in the first half and Telligman two saves in the second half. John Martin Beam opened the scoring up in the fourth minute of the game on an overlap and attack into the Bloomfield box. Horst tallied next with a goal off of a rebound in the ninth minute. Gera Silva would score goals next in the twelfth and fifteenth minutes on unassisted attacks. Claudson Thomas scored next on a through ball just seconds after subbing on in the sixteenth minute. Turpin would score on a crossed ball in the sixteenth minute to take us into the half up 6-1. As we started the second, Silva scored in the forty-third minute. Claudson Thomas scored his second in the fifty-sixth minute just after subbing on again. Carson Heiden would score his first of the season on a header from a corner kick in the seventy-fifth minute. Morgan Horst finished the game off for us with his second goal in the seventy-eighth minute of an assist from Lucas Klingler. Gera Silva took home our Man of the Match award. The boys of Lincoln Soccer head to Evansville on Wednesday night to play last season’s state champs, Evansville Memorial.
