We’re happy to get another conference win tonight. I was really hoping Mabry would get in the win column tonight. He needs a win more than anyone, and he put forth a great effort to force a 3rd set, but came up just short. He’s not playing bad, and every match he’s played has been tight, so we know it’s a matter of time before the wins start coming. I was happy with the way Burgess/Miller picked up the momentum after a sluggish start. They played a pretty solid team, but stuck to their game and were effective at controlling the net. We look forward to continuing our momentum on Wednesday against Central.
