Lincoln Boys Soccer took its first loss of the 2026 season on Saturday, September 5, against conference opponent, Northview. The Alices battled through the heat on Northview’s turf field. Following some contentious play and controversial plays on the field, Northview found the breakthrough goal in the final 5 minutes. Northview’s goal marks only the third goal the Alices have allowed across the team’s first six games. The Alices registered nine shots in the match, by far the team’s lowest shot total in any match this season. Goalkeeper, Landon Telligman, a junior, was outstanding between the posts, registering 9 saves on the day, some that kept the team in the match. Telligmans play earned him man of the match honors. The boys team now prepares for a JV-Varsity doubleheader against the Terre Haute North Patriots at home on Wednesday, September 9.
