Boys soccer took its first road trip of season to face Bloomfield on Monday, August 24. The boys won against the Cardinals with a final score of 8-0. The Alices registered 37 shots in the match and had 5 different goal scorers. The scoring opened up in the 7th minute with a goal by Bryce Quinett off of a Claudson Thomas assist. Thomas would score the second goal in the 17th minute off of an assist by Quinett. Senior, David Ramirez, would add his own goal in the 21st minute. Moving onto the second half, Gera Silva would add another hat trick to his tally on the season. His first goal coming in the 43rd minute, unassisted. His second goal coming in the 48th minute off of an assist by Quinett. Silva's third, and final, goal would come in the 50th minute off of an assist by junior, Grant Richardville. Sophomore, Calvin Doggett, would complete the scoring by scoring in the 57th minute off of an assist by junior, Cooper Barekman. Junior goalkeeper, Landon Telligman, recorded 2 saves on the evening. Freshman goalkeeper, Jason Richardville, earned his first varsity high school minutes and recorded 2 saves in the match to close things out and secure a shutout. Gera Silva earned Man of the Match honors by scoring his third hat trick in just the third game of the season. Gera was vigilant as one of our forwards in this match and helped spur on a second half rout. The Alices are on the road this Saturday, August 29, at Princeton, a school in our sectional pool.
